Original palete knife Impressionist Painting of Waterfall signed S'TALF
Up for sale is this original Landscape Painting of a small waterfall in the woods.
I think it is Oil but might Acrylic (on board) done with a heavy palette knife.
Signed: S"TALF 1961 (almost looks like 1901 but the style suggests 1960's).
The visible part of the painting is approx 17 3/4" by25 1/2" while the overall frame is 24" by 30 1/2"
The visible portion of the painting is approx. 19 1/2" by 15 1/2", while the frame is 25" by 21".
I do not know anything about this artist.
I think it is nicely executed, done by someone who knew what they were doing.
